Rental Income in Vejer

Prospective Buyers quite rightly are hesitant when it comes to "biting off more than they can chew" in terms of mortgage repayments generated from Rental Income on property in Costa de la Luz. The market is picking up as infrastructure is constantly improving, yet expect no more than 16 or 18 weeks rental as a maximum if well marketed.

Vejer: Costa de la Luz

Between Barbate & Conil de la Frontera lies Vejer de la Frontera. Vejer must be one of the most naturally beautiful villages in all of Spain, and certainly well photographed due to its position perched high & clean, tidy whitewashed pueblo.

The town itself like Ronda or Benahavis in Andalucia is a major tourist attraction and Vejer is famous for its pleasant mix of award-winning Arabian & Andalucian architecture influenced by moorish settlers, with houses of dazzling whiteness, narrow, sloping streets and arches of limestone and friendly locals.

Vejer's trademark dish is most propbably "Lomo en manteca" which is a loin of Pork served as only they can!

For the more adventurous the area hosts hanggliding, trekking, stunning beaches and nature & much more. It is hom eto many romantic hideaway hotels like El Escondrijo, and gradually becoming more accustomed to the influx of British trying to avoid the over populated tourist resorts of Costa del Sol in favour of the more tranquil, less densely populated and built Costa de La Luz: Not least as property prices currently are a good 40-50% below those in similar areas of Costa del Sol.

A 3 bed detached property in Vejer is likely to cost around 250,000 euros in Vejer but upwards of 500,000 euros in eg Fuengirola, Mijas, let alone the likes of Puerto Banus & Marbella.
